SPRING 2023 In-Person Art Classes for all ages!

CHILDREN'S CLASSES:

Classes begin: Monday, January 30, 2023

Spring Break: March 13-17, 2023

Last Class: Thursday, April 27, 2023

12 weeks

Mondays          Pre-K4-1st Grade          4:00 pm - 5:30 pm          $400

Tuesdays          1st - 2nd Grades           3:30 pm - 5:30 pm          $450

Wednesdays    3rd - 4th Grades            3:30 pm - 5:30 pm          $450

Thursdays         5th - 12th Grades         4:00 pm - 6:00 pm          $450

Children's classes are for ages 2-18 and may include projects such as watercolors, acrylic painting, clay works, 3-D and recycled art, oil pastels, charcoals, soft and hard pastels, mixed media, printing, sculptures, textures, and more. Children will rotate through at least 3-4 projects per class.

Adult Evening and Weekend Classes:

1. Oil Painting and more with Lucy Riggs

Mondays, 7:00-9:00 pm, 12 weeks

Begins Jan 30 - April 24,      $450

For beginners and experienced students

2. EZ Cut and Printmaking with Alyssa Diaz

Tuesdays, 7:00 - 9:00 pm, 6 weeks only

Begins Jan 31 - March 7,    $250

Learn to design, transfer, cut, ink, and print

3. Fundamentals of Drawing with Gizelle Pinto

Tuesdays, 7:00 - 9:00 pm

For beginners and experienced students alike. Students will choose projects based on skill and experience when learning to see and transport that vision onto paper through a variety of mark making techniques. Students work at their own pace and choose their preferred medium and format

Drawing 1: 6 weeks, Jan 31- March 7,   $250

Drawing 2: 6 weeks, March 21 - April 25, $250 

4. Fundamentals of Painting with Watercolors with Gizelle Pinto

Wednesdays, 7:00 - 9:00 pm

For beginners and experienced students alike. An immersive experience covering how to use watercolor, preparing paper, panting techniques, and more. Small, quick projects allow the students to practice these skills. For students who wish to continue, a large detailed drawing will be undertaken using reference images at their own pace.

Watercolors 1: Feb. 1 - March 8, 6 weeks, $250

Watercolors 2: March 22 - April 26, 6 weeks, $250

5. Watercolor Workshop with Yu Cha Pak

Saturday, February 4

A quick exploration of watercolors for both beginners and experienced students.

Students who wish to continue honing their skills may register for the afternoon class, also.

Workshop 1: 10:00 am - 12:00 noon, 2 hours, $40

Workshop 2:   1:00 pm - 3:00 pm, 2 hours, $40

6. Sumi-E Drawing Workshop with Yu Cha Pak

Saturday, February 11

An exploration in the meditative practice of painting with black ink for both beginners and experienced students. Students who wish to continue honing their skills may also register for the afternoon class.

Sumi-E 1: 10:00 am - 12:00 noon, 2 hours, $40

Sumi-E 2:    1:00 pm - 3:00 pm, 2 hours, $40

     

Families that are registered and paid-in-full for the Spring semester have access to priority registration for our summer program, the Mad Hatter Arts Camp.

Checks made payable to Art Studio on the Boulevard.

$150 deposit must accompany registrations for children's classes, with balance due by first class

Cash payments must be made in person by appointment.

Adult class fees are paid at time of registration and must be paid in full by the first class.

A PayPal invoice will be emailed to you upon request.

Over drawn checks will incur a $40 fee.

Refunds for withdrawal from class will incur a $30 processing fee.
